Seventh Thing Love How The poem dances on tippy toes Hearing upbeat sounds of jazzy notes Ever chasing after newfound happiness On movements breaking earthshaking ground Down to the rising shoe size of the one Entrusted with becoming wise and fun by Paul Hsu 11-17-17

Sixth Thing Love How

Sixth Thing Love How The poem takes two first steps Happy to be with two feet Ever after father time On the sidewalk not the street Daring to climb up the steps Even with rhythm and rhyme by Paul Hsu 11/16-17/17

The Same Trees

The Same Trees My grandfather and his brother planted a row of trees over half a century ago becoming shade for pedestrians and students on the sidewalk to and from school My grandfather and his brother lived as next door neighbors for so many years until sickness and bad health came around with old age and prevented things from staying the same trees I am told in passing by the winds of many changes still stand in service as shade yesterday and today by Paul Hsu 11-6-17

Song of Threes

Song of Threes Which child sees The smiling leaves Wildly on the trees? Bunny sees The funny leaves Running through the trees. Snake Eyes sees The faking leaves Shaking in the trees. Monkey sees The funky leaves Junkyard by the trees. How revealing the knees And the leaves Of the trees Feeling the deep sea breeze. by Paul Hsu 11-2-17
