Spring Poems of Ascents in the Air

With wings of desire,
like a pair of bells
in a church bell choir
about to be rung,
we wait, longing in line,
until kingdom come time.

Fire, ignite our rise
and fall with rapture.
On life's ladder of ups
and downs, from darkness
to light, night and day,
breath, love, peace, show the way.
